Each yardage was grown in our regenerative farm in Java. For 2 years now, we've been working with indigenous women farmers to grow cotton and natural dyes with regenerative methods. From sourcing non-GMO seeds to completely eliminating chemical fertilizer and pesticides to heal the soil.
After the harvest, the Ibus come together to de-seed and spin each flower into threads before being woven by hand on a floor loom. Each takes 6 months to craft, from farm to fabric
